How to Restore Settings from a Backup on Merlin

Restoring from a backup allows you to quickly recover your complete Merlin setup. This guide covers the restore process and troubleshooting common issues.
🔄 Restore Process
- Ensure your backup file is accessible (USB drive or HDD)
- Go to Menu → Setup → Software Management → Restore Backup
- Navigate to your backup file location
- Select the backup file you want to restore
- Confirm the restore operation
- Wait for the restore process to complete (can take 10-30 minutes)
- The receiver will reboot automatically when finished
⚠️ Important Notes
- Restoring will overwrite ALL current settings and data
- Make sure the backup is from the same receiver model
- The process cannot be interrupted once started
- Network settings may need reconfiguration after restore
