How to Configure Network on Merlin

This guide explains how to set up both wired and wireless network connections on Merlin, ensuring your receiver can access online services and updates.

🌐 Wired Network (Ethernet)

1. Connect Ethernet cable to your receiver and router
2. Go to Menu → Setup → Network → Device Setup
3. Select Ethernet adapter
4. Choose "DHCP" for automatic configuration or "Static" for manual
5. If using Static, enter IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS
6. Apply settings and test connection

📶 Wireless Network (WiFi)

1. Ensure you have a WiFi adapter connected (USB or internal)
2. Go to Menu → Setup → Network → Device Setup
3. Select WLAN adapter
4. Choose "Scan" to find available networks
5. Select your network and enter the password
6. Save settings and wait for connection

🧪 Test Network Connection

1. Go to Menu → Setup → Network → Network Test
2. Run the test to check all network functions
3. Ensure all tests pass (IP assignment, gateway, DNS resolution)
4. If tests fail, review your network settings
